Election 2013

We sould mark our calendars on May 13, 2013 because a few weeks from now is the upcoming 2013 Election. Election is the time that we will choose again our leaders for the Senate Positions and somehow for our local officials for different cities and districts. It is the time for us to exercise our right to vote and choose the right people/peoles that should be elected and will be sitted on the different government positions and will serve us our voice in the government.

Now we can observe and see how the campaign goes. It's a really quiet hard and tough competitions and campaign rallies of different parties for the road of SUCCESS. Candidates who are running to the different positions use campaign paraphernalias and different campaign strategies just to catch peoles attention.

Everywhere we can see posters, tarpaulins, leaflets and even campaign advertisement at the different television channels and different radio stations and even campaign on the social media. Most of the time candidates use the media to expose theirselves to the people to catch attention and to cast votes.

Me, as an individual, I wanna exercise my right to vote even though this is my first time to vote. This the time for us to THINK...THINK...and THINK what is really the best for us not just because of the Platforms or "Plataporma" and how they campaign, but think of our future. Choose the right leaders.



PECOS MACHINE



Now we are in a modern world. Technologies and gadgets are now in or are now on trends today and help us a lot on our everyday lives. Our upcoming election would be the second time to use computerized voting/election. It's the PECOS MACHINE, that's what they called it. It's worth a thousand of pesos each.

But come to think of it, is it really worth to trust such machines??Yes..We all know it's a big advantage for us to use them. Easy and convenient especially when counting for the votes, which is fast rather than manually counting and tallying the votes that would take too much time and efforts. But there are disadvatages in using this machine. We all know that now a days, most people knows how to to use computers. Computers that would be easily hacked and reprogram that would be a one reason for CHEATING.

Think and Vote WISELY. Not because that some candidates came from a very well-known and reputable family, but because they are worth our TRUSTS and VOTES that they could be a big help for us an individual, but could also help us fight against POVERTY.
